BevNET Review

While this is definitely an alcoholic beverage (it’s 8 percent ABV), Unity Vibration’s Ginger Kombucha Beer still feels very much like a kombucha product. So, we decided to give it a try for the purposes of a BevNET review -- and we’re really glad that we did. This open air fermented and bottle conditioned product is the most complex flavored kombucha that we’ve ever tried, blending notes of kombucha, ginger, sugar, and hops into a formulation that is perfectly balanced. Despite having a rather high ABV, the product does not have a boozy flavor and it drinks much more like a kombucha than a beer (there’s really no beer flavor). That’s fine by us -- it still feels very much like a good for you product (which is what it’s supposed to be). The packaging, which is a 22 oz. “bomber” with a foil wrapped crown top, feels like a super premium craft product. The label design is very well done, especially when considering the rest of the kombucha category. It’s both visually appealing and easy to read, key things when it comes to beverage packaging. Overall, this is a truly exceptional product.
