Unity Vibration: Original (2011)

Having tried several of the Unity Vibration flavored kombuchas, we’re left wondering why anyone would want to drink this variety. It’s not that it’s bad (it’s actually quite good), but the flavors offer another level of complexity that’s not found in this product. There’s not too much fermented flavor to it, leaving a hefty amount of sweetness to the mix. The name, “Plain,” is also a tougher sell over the more appealing names of the fruit flavors. That said, this product might make a good option for those consumers who want to add their own flavor or are new to kombucha (this product is still much more drinkable than just about any other straight kombucha that we’ve had). Overall, Unity Vibration’s Plain Kombucha is good, but it is unfortunately stuck in the shadows of their outstanding fruit flavors.
