Coca-Cola announces single-serve Minute Maid

ATLANTA, November 4, 2009 – The Minute Maid Enhanced Juice and Juice Drink line will expand in 2010 — by going smaller.



Minute Maid Enhanced is introducing three of its most popular varieties — Minute Maid Pomegranate Blueberry Flavored 100% Juice Blend of 5 Juices, Minute Maid Pomegranate Lemonade and Minute Maid Strawberry Kiwi Flavored Juice Drink — in new 12-fl.oz shrink-wrapped single-serve bottles.



Available today at retailers nationwide in the distinctive 59-fl.-oz. PET bottle, three varieties of Minute Maid Enhanced will also be available in supermarkets and other retailers in a chilled single-serve bottle beginning in January 2010. “By launching our most popular varieties of the Minute Maid Enhanced Juice and Juice Drink line in a chilled single-serve, we will continue to meet the needs of health-conscious consumers with a new, convenient package,” said Mike Saint John, President Minute Maid Business Unit. “The new single-serve also allows consumers who are on the go to enjoy the delicious taste of Minute Maid anytime and anywhere.”



The Minute Maid Enhanced Juice and Juice Drink line delivers flavorful juice beverages with unique fortification for health-conscious consumers. Minute Maid Pomegranate Blueberry flavored 100% juice is a blend of five juices with Omega-3/DHA and four other nutrients to help nourish the brain and body; Minute Maid Pomegranate Lemonade is an excellent source of antioxidant vitamins C and E; and Minute Maid Strawberry Kiwi combines both Yerba Mate extract and real fruit juice to provide consumers with a delicious natural energy boost.



The Minute Maid Enhanced Juice and Juice Drink line features two additional flavors: Minute Maid Pomegranate Flavored Tea, an excellent source of antioxidant vitamins C and E now reformulated with only 40 calories per serving, and Minute Maid Heart Wise® Orange Juice with naturally sourced plant sterols to help lower cholesterol (two 8-fl.oz. servings per day with meals) — both currently available in unique 59-fl.oz PET bottles.



The launch of Minute Maid Enhanced chilled single-serve 12-fl.oz. bottles in three flavors will be supported with a fully integrated marketing program that includes in-store and out-of-store trial and awareness tactics.
