At Nutrition Capital Network’s eighth international Investor Meeting, investors
will be introduced to 20 of the best growth companies and acquisition opportunities
in nutrition, health & wellness, technology, natural & organic and green products.
Presenting companies are screened and prepared by a nine-member committee
including NCN Principals Grant Ferrier and Tom Aarts, founders of Nutrition
Business Journal, Greg Horn, former CEO of GNC, and Steve Allen formerly of
Nestlé, Carlos Barroso, Lara Burns, Matt Roberts and Ed Hauck.

apply to present at NCN VIII in NY on April 12 (or at NCN IX in Los Angeles on 11/15
or at ingredient-focused NCN at SupplySide West on 10/11). At NCN meetings 60-80
investors attend, representing capital under management of $5+ billion. Attendees include

enabling technology are selected from the following stages:

• Advanced Stage: Revenues of $20-$100 million and looking for capital for major initiatives,
growth, globalization or acquisitions. Investments of $10-50 million.

• Second Round or Later Stage: Companies that have raised structured capital, with revenues
of $5 million+ and looking for growth capital. Investments of $5-20 million.

• First Round: Companies beyond proof of concept with revenues of $1-5 million and raising
outside or professional capital for the first time. Investments of $1-5 million.

• Start-Ups: Companies engaged in proof-of-concept or ‘pre-revenue’, typically bootstrapped
or funded by family and friends and now ready for angel or early-stage venture financing.
Revenues <$1 million and seeking $500,000 to $2 million.
