Startup’s Fresh Marketing Strategies Earn Spotlight of ABC7, Now They’re Calling for Your Recipes

With a Limited Budget in a Tough Economy, Cobá Has Found Inventive Marketing Practices to Warrant a Highlighted Piece From the Vista LA TV Program

Los Angeles, CA –  Start-up beverage company Cobá and their line of RTD all-natural aguas frescas were highlighted this weekend on Los Angeles TV show Vista LA. A weekly program that airs on Sunday, Vista LA focuses on Latino lifestyle in Southern California and showcased co-founders Arnulfo Ventura and Jose Domene in their ‘fresh ideas’ segment.

Recently rebranded, Cobá’s momentum continues to gain strength and attract attention via their interesting marketing concepts. From turning their office space into an art gallery every month for downtown LA’s Art Walk to featuring authentic food recipes on their website from local consumers who want to share their longtime favorites with the Cobá family, Cobá continues to be resourceful in its marketing spend.

“It took my mom years to obtain a proper mole recipe originating from Puebla, so we had the idea of creating the ‘Real Recipes’ initiative, which will live on our website and celebrate the stewards in our community and they’re amazing recipes” says CEO Arnulfo Ventura. “Everyone has their time tested authentic recipes from their families and now we are providing a forum to showcase them. Plus I love to cook, so I am excited to have some new dishes to try out.”

Cobá is now calling for submissions where chosen recipes will be featured on their ‘Real Recipes’ section of the website. Please email submissions to the company’s luchador team at and visit the website ( to see the first recipes soon to be posted.
