Marty Brown and Patrick Haynes Named COO and National Sales Manager

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 2012) — Southern California-based Mr. Pink Collections, LLC brings on Marty Brown and Patrick Haynes to spearhead the growth and development of the Mr. Pink line of ginseng-based beverages. With Brown as Chief Operating Officer and Haynes as National Sales Manager, Mr. Pink Collections is building a strong management team in the beverage industry.

Before taking on the role of COO at Mr. Pink, Brown worked as President of Power Brands Consulting, LLC – an award-winning beverage industry consulting company. Brown was responsible for sales, client acquisition and project management for the leading beverage development company in the United States. He managed the development, creation and formulation of new beverage projects for customers worldwide.

Previous to being president at Power Brands, Brown spent eight years as the Western Region Sales Manager for Rexam Beverage Can Company – the world’s largest manufacturer of aluminum beverage cans. The total annual sales volume he managed in this region exceeded 6 Billion cans and ends, worth over $500 million. While at Rexam, Brown was instrumental in launching Rexam’s SLEEK™ line of cans in America, and brought in over 20 new customers into this package. Additionally, he sold Hansen’s Beverage Company on putting their Monster™ Energy Drink into Rexam’s new 24 oz. Cap Can™, the first re-sealable aluminum beverage can in America.

Brown has also held various management positions for over 16 years at Procter & Gamble, one of the world’s largest consumer products company. At P&G, Brown gained experience in both the retail consumer products industry and the Foodservice and Lodging industry. Apart from his extensive career in the beverage industry, Brown spent almost six years in the US Army, rising to the rank of Captain in the Air Defense Artillery branch. He has an undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and an M.B.A. Degree from the University of California, Irvine.

Haynes, Mr. Pink’s new National Sales Manager, is a consumer products veteran with over 20 years in the industry. Throughout his career, he has held positions in every level of sales and sales management, and brings to the team a deep understanding of the beverage category.

Before joining Mr. Pink, Haynes worked as the National Account Manager for Hain-Celestial group, a leading natural and organic food and personal care products company, where he led all private label initiatives in North America. His role included the creation and launching of unique private label products for grocery and natural food target retail partners, including Kroger, Whole Foods, and Fresh and Easy.

Haynes has also worked for such flagship companies such as Nestle Water and Esker Water, and helped launch numerous other brands in start-up environments. As Zone Manager at Nestle Waters of America, Haynes was responsible for delivering over $88 million in sales and profit for Nestle Waters business in the grocery, convenience, and mass channel for the Western United States. His role included leading eight direct reports and over 80 indirect personnel. As Division Manager of Esker Water Haynes drove distribution, revenue and volume by implementing new distribution models, channel strategies, promotional activities and pricing standards. Haynes received his degree in economics from the University of Colorado in 1986.
