Hong Kong, 24 June 2016 – Jax Coco is a premium beverage lifestyle brand, providing an invigorating healthy range of beverages with young coconut water at its core. Founded in Hong Kong in late 2011, Jax Coco has since grown to become a global brand available in 15 countries and over 30 cities.
Jax Coco is pleased to appoint Greg Cattin as CEO. As well as a member of the company’s Board, Greg will be in charge of the overall business, reporting to the company’s Board of Directors.
Recognized by his peers as an inspiring leader and successful business builder, Greg has specialized in developing undervalued assets into significantly larger, sustainable and profitable businesses (e.g. Evian mineral water in China, MIKADO biscuits in Europe and NESCAFÉ ready-to-drink coffees in China). With over twenty-five years of experience and successful growth in beverages, Greg is extremely well positioned to lead the Jax Coco beverage venture beyond its start-up phase towards an attractive “boutique beverage business” focusing on heathy, natural and premium propositions.
Greg worked for 15 years with Danone in both France and China in various sales, business development and marketing roles. 11 years ago Greg joined Nestlé where he started working as head of marketing for Nestlé Waters division in Asia and two years later Nestlé China, where he led the emerging ready to drinks division, from a loss making to a highly profitable business within just five years. This achievement directly led the Nestlé group into the first ever significant investment into liquid beverage category by taking a majority share in YINLU, which is Nestlé’s largest JV venture in China with Greg (who is a fluent Mandarin speaker) as Vice-President and main Nestlé principal.
