Honeydrop Launches CBD Lemonade Line

BROOKLYN, N.Y.—Honeydrop Beverages, the leading producer of cold-pressed lemonades, is excited to announce a new partnership with Boulder, C.O.-based Evo Hemp to launch a line of Honeydrop Cold-Pressed CBD Lemonades. The new line was conceived and crafted by Honeydrop’s SVP Mareill Kiernan, who is also a certified holistic natural foods chef and health coach.

Made with 20mg of premium U.S grown CBD sourced by Evo Hemp and a teaspoon of raw U.S. honey, the new CBD lemonades contain only 4 g of sugar per bottle and will be offered in three flavors: REVIVE (Matcha), RELAX (Lemon) and REHAB (Turmeric). The products will initially be available in Southern California and the New York Tristate area via distributors Los Angeles Distributing and Doras Natural at an MSRP of $5.99. The product will also be available for Nationwide shipping. For more information visit honeydrop.com or email hello@honeydrop.com.

“Honeydrop has done an amazing job adapting to the market and responding to consumer habits, which inevitably led to the creation of these new cold-pressed CBD lemonades,” said Richard Medina, Founder of LA Distributing, who also recently joined the company as a Board Advisor. “CBD offerings are going to be an amazing addition to their already impressive lineup of low-sugar honey lemonades.”

With the lemonade category expected to grow at 6 percent CAGR over the next few years and the CBD market projected to balloon to over $22 billion in sales by 2022, Honeydrop’s Cold-Pressed CBD Lemonades will provide retailers with a pioneering low-sugar product that contains only a few simple but functional ingredients like cold pressed lemons, matcha and turmeric root.

“Honeydrop has taken great pride in producing a delicious cold-pressed lemonade made with Evo Hemp CBD that is never heated, an important characteristic considering high-intensity pasteurization kills the benefits of CBD,” said Jourdan Samel, Co-Founder of Evo Hemp. “Our ethically-sourced CBD not only supports Native American Tribes and rural farmers, but also the bees that pollinate it, as our hemp has no pesticides and contains all the necessary vital nutrients bees require to thrive.”

Honeydrop also announced that Andrew Lorig has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer.  Andrew has worn many hats at the company.  Shortly after graduating from SMU, he started as Honeydrop’s Regional Sales Manager in the New York Tristate area.  In 2013, He joined Honeydrop’s Board of Directors helping raise growth capital and plan company strategy.

“Over the years, Andy has established a far-reaching network of influential brand support.  He has a proven track record for identifying exciting marketing opportunities and ideal brand partnerships to align Honeydrop with our target consumer. Honeydrop has a lot of organic momentum right now and Andy is surely going to accelerate that in this new role,” said Honeydrop’s Board of Directors.
