JUST water Collaborates with p1440 on Limited-Edition Bottle

NEW YORK, N.Y. — Kerri Walsh Jennings’ new event series and digital community, p1440, encompassing a professional beach volleyball tournament, personal development experiences, a music festival and a health & wellness village, is partnering with JUST water, a sustainable beverage company dedicated to producing responsibly sourced products in planet-friendly packaging. The environmentally conscious partnership will bring a collaborative limited-edition paper-based water bottle to p1440 events, create less plastic waste at the beaches and aid in reducing the overall carbon footprint of the tour. p1440 will have the custom JUST water bottles available for purchase at each event, promoting sustainability and showcasing how like-minded brands can positively impact the community and world.

“We’re honored to create a special edition JUST bottle with p1440 for their events.  For our first collaboration, aligning with an organization founded by inspiring athletes and based upon enjoying and protecting the beach, ocean and planet is something I’m deeply passionate about and we’re humbled to support,” said Jaden Smith, JUST co-founder.

JUST water is changing the way consumer goods are created by partnering with a small city in upstate New York, buying their excess spring water at a fair rate, putting more money back into the local economy. JUST water packages spring water in 100% recyclable bottles made from 82% renewable materials, resulting in 74% less carbon emissions compared to similar sized plastic water bottles. p1440 will provide attendees with this sustainable, reusable bottle to use throughout the events, keeping guests hydrated, the series sustainable and reducing plastic at the event sites.

“It’s an honor to be partnering with this talented group of people and with a progressive organization that shares a very similar mission to JUST- making decisions to better our planet and the people who live in it.  We look forward to hydrating the fans with this special collaborative bottle and watch p1440 make a positively disrupting difference in their space,” said Ira Laufer, JUST CEO.

The inaugural p1440 event series will launch the limited-edition p1440 JUST water bottle at the first eight events starting in September 2018. In 2018, the series will travel to four cities in the U.S.—San Jose, Las Vegas, San Diego and Huntington Beach, showcasing the best in women’s and men’s beach volleyball from around the globe. In summer of 2018, the p1440 event series will also be supported 24/7 by a powerful digital online community that will provide constant inspiration and an abundance of resources to support living a sustainable life. Together, the event series and digital experience will revolutionize and revitalize the sport of beach volleyball, provide a credible platform for aspiring and professional athletes, grow the volleyball audience, become the leading resource for individuals to live playfully and partner with like-minded brands to make a difference.

“JUST water and p1440 are aligned with the same values of the dreamers who have the vision and the devotion to create their wildest realities; people who are not afraid to stand up and create their own path, instead of waiting and hoping that things will change. This is exactly the type of brand with whom we want to partner with at p1440,” said Walsh Jennings, p1440 co-founder. “Keeping our world clean is a high priority, as well as inspiring attendees to live mindfully and with purpose, every minute of the day—all 1440 of them! We believe you get what you give in life and we will always strive to respect our earth’s natural resources—she’s so good to us! We are all here to make a positive impact on our community and this partnership signifies just that.”

One of p1440’s core values is commitment to preserve the planet. The p1440 team will utilize p1440’s platform to educate and build awareness about global issues, while implementing the highest sustainability practices, ensuring they always leave every event space even better than when they arrived.
