Pure Green Onboards With GoPuff
New York-based cold pressed juice and wellness shot brand Pure Green is seeking to extend its recent growth streak by partnering with instant delivery platform GoPuff.
Since launching in 2014, Pure Green has steadily expanded both its franchise retail store and wholesale businesses. The company now operates seven stores in Chicago, New York and Florida that offer a range of smoothies, bowls and other food items alongside juices and shots. Pure Green’s retail presence is limited to chain-wide at The Fresh Market (157 stores), as well as at Ingles.
But with 30 new stores slated to open this year alone – not to mention over 400 commitments, according to CEO and founder Ross Franklin – the company is stepping up its efforts to scale, and linking with GoPuff is part of that strategy. Although Pure Green already offers delivery via courier to customers in the vicinity of its retail stores, adding GoPuff will allow the chain to expand both its geographic footprint and its consumer audience with delivery to most locations within 30 minutes.
“For us, we want to make sure our cold pressed juice and shots are more accessible to everyone, so we felt that GoPuff was the perfect fit to do that,” said Franklin.
Organifi Makes Retail Debut
Expanding on the success from its e-commerce D2C platform, wellness brand Organifi made its retail debut this week nationwide at Sprouts Farmers Markets, 600 CVS stores, Denver-area King Soopers, Fresh Thyme markets in the Midwest region and at additional regional grocery retailers. The company was founded in 2014 and has grown exclusively through its online marketplace and is now making its move to retail to continue driving its omni channel sales strategy.

With the exception of its distribution with The Vitamin Shoppe, this expansion marks the company’s first venture into the retail space. Organifi also recently went through a rebrand with new packaging to highlight the products organic and non-GMO ingredients.
Notco Expands Distribution In Natural And Conventional Grocery
Food tech company NotCo expanded distribution of its plant-based NotMilk product to additional retailers including Sprouts, Wegmans, D’Agostino’s, Harmons, New Seasons Market, Earth Fare and more following its debut in the U.S. with a nationwide launch at Whole Foods late last year.
“NotCo is in a unique position as our AI technology allows us to develop products across a variety of categories that are true replacements to animal-based foods,” said NotCo Founder and CEO Matias Muchnick in a press release. “We’ve been thrilled with the response from retailers across the country in both the natural and conventional channel as they immediately understand the advantage we’re bringing to the category.”
In addition to expanding its retail presence, NotMilk is now available on Imperfect Foods and vegan ecommerce site Vejii as well. The Bezos-backed company has additional product lines such as NotBurger, NotIceCream and NotMayo that are distributed in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Colombia.
Southern Glazer’s Adds More CBD With Mad Tasty
Distribution house Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits has added infused flavored sparkling water brand Mad Tasty to its burgeoning roster of CBD beverage brands, making it the largest CBD wholesaler in the country, according to an announcement today.
