9 New Beverages Spotted at Winter Fancy Food Show 2023

As the name suggests, its focus may be on food, but this year’s annual Winter Fancy Food Show saw its share of beverage innovation, from ALO debuting its new sparkling juice line, DaoHer adding a new Crème Brûlée flavor to its dessert-inspired boba line and Gutsy branching out from the kombucha set. ALO

Aloe vera-infused beverage brand ALO debuted its new sparkling juice line. Available in three flavors at launch – Passion Fruit + Peach, Mango + Mangosteen and White Grape – the sparkling juice was the most highly requested innovation among consumers, according to the brand. The new drinks are slated to make their official launch at Natural Products Expo West 2023 in March.

Mixoloshe

Mixoloshe expanded its lineup of non-alcoholic cocktail alternatives with three new varieties: Orange Old Fashioned, Blueberry G & T and Cosmic Bitter Spritz. The new flavors are available online for $29.99 per 12-pack of 12 oz. cans.

DaoHer

Canned boba maker DaoHer announced the launch of its newest dessert-inspired flavor, Crème Brûlée. The new variety joins the brand’s existing lineup of Classic Milk Tea, Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Matcha Milk Tea and Royal Assam Oat Milk Tea. Additionally, the brand debuted its new shaken tea line. Both products will soon be available on the brand’s website.

Gutsy

Canadian food and beverage brand Gutsy expanded outside of the kombucha set with the introduction of its newest innovation, Adapt2 adaptogenic sparkling beverage. Currently available in Passion Fruit & Hibiscus and Orange & Turmeric flavors, the new beverage will soon also be offered in a Mango flavor. All three varieties feature ashwagandha, holy basil and maca to help reduce daily stress.

Lifeway

Kefir producer Lifeway expanded its lineup with a new Guava flavor. The new offering joins the brand’s existing flavors including Coconut Honey, Blood Orange, Lemon and Plain.

Hibisbloom

Hibisbloom has splashed into the mocktail set with two new sparkling flavors, Citrus Peach Dates and Passionfruit Mango. Both flavors, crafted with West African hibiscus flower, are available online for $20 per 4-pack or $38 per 8-pack.

Tatu

Tatu debuted its protein-infused water formulated for post-workout hydration and recovery. Available in two flavors – Orange Mango and Lemon Ginger – 12 oz. can packs 15 grams of protein and has 60 calories. Tatu Protein Water is available online for $14.99 per 4-pack.

Pressed

Cold-pressed juice beverage maker Pressed unveiled its newest variety, Simple Cleanse. The new drink features water, lemon, allulose, ginger and cayenne. Pressed Simple Cleanse is available online for $6.95 per 15.2 oz. bottle or $35 per 6-pack.

Abstinence Spirits

Premium non-alcoholic spirits and aperitifs maker Abstinence made its U.S. debut with a six-SKU portfolio. The portfolio consists of Cape Citrus, Cape Floral and Cape Spice spirits, Orange and Lemon aperitifs and Epilogue X, which features a smoky profile with the brand’s signature South African Botanicals. Abstinence Spirits’ full portfolio of products is now available for nationwide shipping through the brand’s website.
