PLANO, Texas(August 2, 2010) – U.S. Niutang Chemical, Inc. has introduced a new liquid sucralose product in conjunction with Viachem Ltd., which is currently Niutang’s primary sales and marketing company for its full line of high intensity sweeteners in the U.S. and Canada. Niutang Liquid Sucralose is currently available for sampling, and will begin shipping this month.
“Beverage manufacturers are eagerly awaiting Niutang Liquid Sucralose because it blends so easily with other ingredients,” said Larry Davis, Viachem’s vice president of sales. “Its flavor characteristics are identical to Niutang’s zero-calorie powdered sucralose, which is in high demand because of its flavor profile.”
Sucralose is the only non-caloric sweetener made from sugar. The exceptional stability of sucralose allows food and beverage manufacturers to use it virtually anywhere sugar is used, including in beverages, baked goods, confections, snack foods and pharmaceuticals. With its proven safety and natural taste profile, sucralose is one of the most widely accepted sweeteners in the world.
According to Linda Lin, general manager of U.S. Niutang Chemical, the launch of Niutang Liquid Sucralose in the U.S. and Canada through Viachem will further strengthen the company’s solid leadership position in the high intensity sweetener market. “Niutang has more than 17 years’ experience manufacturing non-nutritive sweeteners to meet the highest FCC and USP standards,” Lin said. “Our customers are secure in the knowledge there will be a steady supply of high-quality sucralose in any form from Niutang, thanks to our newly built state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that was completed at the end of 2009.”
