  • The Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc. announced that it has signed an agreement with O.N.E. (One Natural Experience) to distribute O.N.E. beverages in Southern California and South Florida. PBG will begin distribution in the fourth quarter. Link

  • Apple Rush Co., Inc. announced that the company has added Woodman’s Midwest grocery chain to sell the Apple Rush line of Organic Sparkling 100% Juice beverages. Link


  • Lawyers for the city of Albany, Ore. said they plan to press ahead with a civil action against PepsiCo subsidiary SVC Manufacturing Inc. The city council sued SVC in February after the company announced last fall it would not build a Gatorade bottling plant on land it had bought on the south side of Albany. The lawsuit seeks about $105 million in damages for lost revenue now and in years to come. Link


  • The International Bottled Water Association said it supported measures to improve the U.S. water infrastructure system, but not new bills that would levy a tax on bottled water. The association said it would be unfair to tax water-based beverages while exempting other food and non-food manufacturers that also use municipal water. Link
