The rumor mill is churning, and it looks like the players of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Wild are drinking Golden Tiger for recovery.
And what’s more – Jenna Stangland, the Director of Performance Nutrition for the Timberwolves found Golden Tiger organically. That’s quite impressive given the brand is still in its early phase of growth.
“Jenna was looking for a drink with Bioactive Curcumin and we’re the only ones on the market with that”, says Ajay Dhawan, Golden Tiger’s Co-Founder and CEO. “We’re connecting the wisdom of Ayurveda, an ancient healing philosophy with modern, clinical science. Nobody has done this yet, and I’m excited that the sporting world is taking note”, says Ajay.
Golden Tiger is scientifically formulated to fight inflammation and promote daily recovery. “As the nutritionist for the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Minnesota Wild, I am very strategic about the products I order to support FUELING needs and FUNCTIONAL benefits. I came across Golden Tiger when seeking out a healthy, organic, anti-inflammatory beverage. I loved the ingredient profile and the 100 mg of Bioactive Curcumin that I cannot get in any other drink. It also helps that the guys enjoy Lemonade!” says Jenna Stangland.
The Curcumin in Turmeric can impact one of the inflammatory pathways that occur with delayed onset muscle soreness or DOMS.
“For being as active as these athletes are, they are constantly demanding a lot of their bodies, putting great stress on their cells, and needing to recover quickly for how rigorous the schedule is. Incorporating Golden Tiger into their daily routines has been HUGE in helping them feel their best every day they show up to train and compete.” says Jenna.
It’s been a wild ride for the Timberwolves this season and we’re not sure if that’s in part to Golden Tiger… I guess we’ll keep watching.
