Bundaberg, Australia (May 14, 2024) – Australia’s favorite craft soda brand is set to treat Americans to a premium sparkling lemonade that is slowly brewed over three days.
Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, which has been brewing craft soda since 1968, will launch Bundaberg Brewed Sparkling Lemonade into the broader US market following a successful trial in a warehouse club channel.
Unlike standard carbonated soda, Bundaberg’s premium beverages are made using time-honored brewing processes and feature real ingredients, including Australian Eureka lemons and cane sugar.
The Australian-brewed soda brand has found a unique place in the carbonated soft drink (CSD) category, with consumers continuing to prove that great taste and quality ingredients are key when selecting a premium beverage like craft sodas.
Research conducted in 2023 indicates the primary driver for the purchase of craft sodas (48 percent of US consumers) is superior taste1.
To support the brand’s continued expansion in the US, Christie Koerner has been appointed as Head of Sales – North America for Bundaberg Brewed Drinks. Koerner joins the company after a lengthy career in the beverage sector, having led teams in category management and sales and successfully launching brands across retail, on-premise, and e-commerce channels. The highly experienced executive is thrilled to have joined a team that sells an authentically craft-brewed soda “unlike anything else in the market.”
“We know that once people taste any of our products, they fall in love with our entire line of brews and introducing Bundaberg Brewed Sparkling Lemonade to the US will undoubtedly draw more people to the brand,” said Koerner, who has almost 20 years’ experience in the beverage industry.

Koerner said the club channel trial inspired extremely positive word of mouth, with the craft lemonade becoming available on Amazon, select Costco stores, Albertsons, and Safeway across the West Coast before launching in Mexico later this year.
“Already able to claim the number one Ginger Beer brand position on the West Coast, research found that 89% of US consumers found our Bundaberg Brewed Sparkling Lemonade appealing,” Koerner added.
Bundaberg Brewed Sparkling Lemonade will be sold in four packs of the brewer’s iconic 12.7 fluid ounce glass stubby bottle with traditional ring pull rip-cap.
