CHARLESTON, S.C.-- Bittermilk Bottling Co., renowned for its artisanal cocktail mixers and premium beverages, proudly announces three of its brands – Bittermilk, Drinkmanship, and Barcoop Bevy – received recognition from multiple industry awards: San Francisco World Spirit Awards, Good Food Awards and sofi™ Awards, respectively.

The San Francisco World Spirits Competition is recognized as one of the most influential blind judging events in the spirits industry, particularly known for its rigorous judging process. Specifically, Bittermilk No. 1 received a Gold Medal and an impressive judges score of 90 out of 100. Standing out in a competitive line-up, this award recognizes Bittermilk No.1 for its exceptional balance, quality ingredients, and authentic taste. 

Bittermilk Bottling Co.’s line of ready to drink craft cocktails, Drinkmanship, and their Tropical Negroni and Passionfruit and Elderflower Gin Fizz were both winners in the 2024 Good Food Awards. The Good Food Awards is an annual competition recognizing products that honor social and environmental responsibility, as well as those that celebrate craftsmanship and flavor. Winners were selected from a pool of over 2,000 entries where judges performed a blind taste test to determine which products have a taste profile that is favored by both everyday consumers, top chefs, food writers and experts. This accolade celebrates Drinkmanship’s commitment to a custom, careful production style, ability to apply pre-prohibition bar techniques, and impressive efforts to create a natural and sustainable product.

The 52nd annual Specialty Food Association recently unveiled its winners for the 2024 sofi™ Awards and Bittermilk Bottling Co.’s sister brand of cocktail mixers, Barcoop Bevy, is recognized in the alcoholic beverages and cocktail mixes category. Standing for “specialty outstanding food innovation,” the sofi™ awards celebrate creativity, innovation and excellence found within the specialty food industry. Products were evaluated by FIC experts in anonymous tastings spanning 49 different categories where there was just one winner per category. Barcoop Bevy’s Bloody Mary with Smoked Sea Salt and Chiles was the judges top pick in its category.
