Sprecher Brewing and Assassin’s Creed Shadows Unveil to Limited Edition Root Beer with In-Game

Glendale, Wis. –Sprecher Brewing Company has teamed up with Ubisoft to release a limited-edition 16-ounce root beer can in celebration of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the highly anticipated next chapter in the blockbuster video game series. This special collaboration not only features striking new artwork but also includes an exclusive in-game reward, making it a must-have for fans of the franchise. 

Beginning in February 2025, the limited-edition cans will be available at more than 2,000 retailers across the United States where Sprecher is sold. In addition, custom in-store displays celebrating the can and game launch will be featured in 700 stores, including for the first time ever, select airport locations: 

  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) 
  • Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) 
  • John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) 
  • Houston Hobby Airport (HOU) 
  • Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) 

Unlock Exclusive In-Game Content 

Fans who purchase the Sprecher Assassin’s Creed Shadows root beer can will receive a unique in-game item, the Slash of Sprecher Naginata—an epic-tier weapon with custom artwork and enhanced firepower, offering players an exclusive edge in their journey. 

"Sprecher has always been about crafting experiences that bring people together, and this partnership with Ubisoft allows us to do just that in a whole new way," said Sam Keene, chief marketing officer at Sprecher Brewing Company. "Assassin’s Creed has been a part of gaming culture for nearly two decades, and we’re excited to offer fans a collectible they can enjoy both in-game and in real life. It’s about creating a connection between the worlds we love to play in and the flavors we love to share." 

The game will be released worldwide on March 20 and will be accessible on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, Macs with Apple silicon via the Mac App Store as well as Windows PC through the Ubisoft Store, Steam and the Epic Games Store.
