Nguyen Coffee Supply Launches Ready-To-Drink Vietnamese Coffee In Walmart

Brooklyn, NY March 26, 2025 –  Nguyen Coffee Supply, America's first specialty Vietnamese coffee importer & roaster, announced today the launch of its Ready-To-Drink (RTD) Vietnamese coffee at 260 Walmart stores, the world’s largest supermarket chain.  Walmart will carry three SKUs of Nguyen Coffee Supply’s canned Vietnamese coffee flavors: Condensed Milk (a take on the traditional “cà phê s?a dá” style), Coconut (a non-dairy latte inspired by the traditional “cà phê c?t d?a”) and Classic Black (strong, black coffee also known as “cà phê den”). All three styles of their Vietnamese coffee cans are made in the United States with 100% robusta cold brew and include 180mg of caffeine. Each 7.5oz can will retail for $3.16 (the company’s lowest retail price to date, attributable to company’s growth and operational efforts to reduce COGS, scale efficiently and make products widely accessible to consumers).

Founder and CEO Sahra Nguyen said, “Five months ago, I flew to Bentonville to pitch our Packaged Coffee line at Walmart’s Open Call. I publicly shared (on LinkedIn) that we got rejected at the time. Still determined, I tracked down the RTD Coffee buyer online and snagged a 5 minute meeting with him in person before leaving Bentonville. And the rest is history.” 

This new expansion of Nguyen Coffee Supply into Walmart marks a significant achievement for the company, as its physical retail presence has more than doubled year-over-year, spanning 3,000 doors nationwide. “Launching in the country’s largest supermarket chain [Walmart] advances our dream of making Vietnamese coffee an everyday option in America, and by default, bridging global experiences” said Nguyen. “This is how we move culture forward.”

Nguyen Coffee Supply started in 2018 as an importing and roasting company specializing in elevating Vietnamese coffee, both on the ground and in the consumer landscape. Through years of collaboration with their direct trade farmers, Nguyen Coffee Supply’s arabica and robusta beans are grown in Vietnam, hand-picked at peak ripeness, processed through full-washed, natural and honey methods, then shipped to Brooklyn, New York where they’re roasted to highlight the unique flavors of Vietnamese coffee. These 5+ years, Nguyen Coffee Supply has championed the resilient robusta bean (a coffee species historically excluded from specialty coffee conversations) and fought for Vietnamese coffee to have a place on mainstream supermarket shelves. In 2022, the company developed and launched their Ready-To-Drink line in a strategic effort to bring more people into the Vietnamese coffee experience through a convenient and easy format, as well as break into retail through the rapidly growing RTD coffee category.

Nguyen Coffee Supply products are also available at Target, Whole Foods Market, Gopuff, Krogers’ QFC, H-E-B, Nugget Markets, Bristol Farms, and more. Nguyen Coffee Supply also ships direct-to-customers in all 50 states and is available on Amazon and Gopuff. Products are also available in restaurants and cafés in New York City, Washington D.C., Seattle, Boston and Kansas City through their self-serve wholesale program.
