Wakefield, RI - USA (April 1, 2025) - Mezcal Trascendente, an artisanal mezcal focused on sustainability and the rich cultural heritage of Mexico, is proud to announce its launch in the United States. The core range includes Ensamble ($44.99/700ml), Espadín ($39.99/700ml), and Espadín Selecto ($44.99/700ml). Mezcal Trascendente is rolling out nationwide and is currently available in Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Colorado, as well as online.
Launched in 2020, Mezcal Trascendente is dedicated to honoring Mexican tradition and family values through exceptional artisanal mezcal. The brand has modernized tradition by refining every step of the production process—from selecting perfectly mature agaves and shaving them down to perfection, to cooking with sweet wood, using a wild, slow fermentation process with natural yeasts, and reducing combustion smoke exposure to the agaves—ensuring that the pure flavors and aromas of the plant are showcased.
Mezcal Trascendente is made using ingredients and products sourced locally: agaves grown by native communities in the Central Valley of Oaxaca, sustainable wood for cooking from Sierra Juarez, and mineral-rich spring water from Yagul, a UNESCO-protected archaeological site. A commitment to the local community also includes support for the rescue and care of hummingbirds—a sacred bird in the culture and essential for agave pollination—and the Chinampa Restoration Project in Xochimilco (México City), which aims to create a green sanctuary for pollinators.
“Since the beginning, we have embarked on a journey to make an artisanal mezcal with a modern and elegant image, without compromising quality or taste,” says Piercarlo Bianciardi Salcido, COO, Mezcal Trascendente. “Mezcal Trascendente stands out for its clean, elevated flavor profile, thoughtful production practices, and a purpose-driven approach that connects culture, sustainability, and innovation.”
The core range includes:
Ensamble 40% ABV
A combination of Espadín, Tobalá, and Cuishe, Mezcal Trascendente Ensamble displays subtle mineral flavors and hints of citrus that are pleasant to the palate, followed by a delicate smoky touch. Balanced with a silky body, Ensamble is best paired with fatty, slightly salty, and spicy dishes.
Espadín 40% ABV
A predominant citrus aroma, a scent of orange leaf, tangerine, and herbal notes such as cedar leaf and lemon tea. This is a fresh, balanced mezcal, with delicious acidity and sensory characteristics that make it ideal as an aperitif, cocktail, or even sipping.
Espadín Selecto 48% ABV
Using only the hearts of the best Espadín plants, Mezcal Trascendente Espadín Selecto also gives an aroma of orange leaf and tangerine, harmonized by delicate hints of cedar leaf and invigorating lemon tea. This mezcal embodies sophistication—refreshing and impeccably balanced with tantalizing acidity, accompanied by the subtlest nuances of vanilla.

ABOUT SPIRIBAM
Spiribam’s mission to bring the finest Caribbean rum to American shores dates back to 2005 when Rhum Clément was first introduced in the United States. The role of the company quickly evolved into an educational one focused on the advancement of Rhum Agricole from Martinique, and soon Spiribam introduced Rhum J.M. Seeking out rums of different origins, the company added St. Lucia Distillers to the portfolio, beginning with the re-launch of Chairman's Reserve followed by the introduction of Bounty Rum and Admiral Rodney. Soon after, Spiribam acquired Mauritius brands Arcane and Beach House, which are not yet available in North America, as well as the French Guyanese distillery that produces La Belle Cabresse. The first acquisition outside of rum came in 2021 with the arrival of Joseph Cartron Liqueurs from Burgundy. Spiribam furthered its development with the appointment of Hardy Cognac for the United States. Visit Spiribam at @spiribam.For More Information:
