Stoli Vodka has driven innovation in the spirits industry for over 80 years. Today, Stoli announces the 2026 global relaunch of Stoli Ginger Beer. The revamp features a newly formulated recipe that emphasizes natural flavors, including ginger, chili, lemon juice, and coffee-bean-sourced caffeine for an energy kick. This positions the product as a premium offering aligned with contemporary cocktail and non-alcoholic consumption trends.
In 2014, Stoli launched Ginger Beer as an experimental premium crafted for the Stoli Mule cocktail. The product has thrived for many years, with approximately 70–80% of sales coming from mixer applications. In recent years, standalone consumption has surged, and Stoli Ginger Beer has continued to evolve alongside consumer demand for elevated at-home cocktails and premium refreshment, following rising demand for bold, spicy non-alcoholic refreshments across the largest spirits markets.
In 2025, Stoli experimented with tasting notes, upgraded the packaging and branding, and tested activation practices across key markets. Positive feedback from trade partners validated the strategic direction to focus on natural ingredients, and the refreshed Ginger Beer will roll out across markets in Q2–Q3 2026.
The new Stoli Ginger Beer recipe delivers greater natural flavor depth. The appearance is naturally cloudy with a clean liquid profile. The aroma presents a gentle ginger lift complemented by light sweetness. On the palate, it offers a smooth, mildly carbonated texture with balanced sweetness, subtle spice, and a crisp, dry finish. This profile ensures high mixability, enhancing spirits such as vodka without overpowering the drink.
Stoli Ginger Beer is positioned as a premium non-alcoholic mixer with an energy kick, designed to elevate non-alcoholic cocktails, with specific market adjustments for non-alcoholic use.
The primary target audience comprises millennials and Gen Z consumers aged 25–40 who seek premium mixers or functional spicy non-alcoholic alternatives. On-trade professionals value its versatility as a high-quality mixer. Urban professionals and creators use it as a sophisticated alternative to coffee or traditional energy drinks.
Andrey Kuhtin, Stoli Group Regional Marketing Director, shared the best practices that drive product growth:
The 2026 strategy prioritizes distribution expansion and trade visibility across off- and on-premise channels. Proven tactics include cross-merchandising alongside Stoli Vodka to increase basket size. Bundled promotions feature simple Mule recipes where regulations permit. Cocktail bar menus strategically highlight Stoli Mule serves, supported by bartender engagement.
Marina Troyanovskaya, Stoli Group CMO, commented on the sales plans for 2026:
In 2025, Central America, the Caribbean, Switzerland, the Baltic states, and Nordic markets delivered strong performance. Stoli targets nearly a 3x increase in Ginger Beer volumes in 2026. We’ll focus expansion on Southern Europe, including Italy and Spain, alongside APAC markets such as China.
