Chlorophyll Water, the first-ever bottled water in the U.S. to receive the Clean Label Project Certification, is now available at all 30 Pavilions locations across California.
Pavilions, a grocery banner under the Albertsons Companies, is known for offering a curated selection of premium, organic, and wellness-oriented products. With stores located throughout Southern California, Pavilions provides a refined shopping experience focused on health, sustainability, and conscious living—making it a natural fit for Chlorophyll Water’s clean-label and eco-conscious mission.
Chlorophyll Water is a plant-powered, ultra-purified water enhanced with chlorophyll—the green pigment in plants celebrated for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detoxifying benefits. The water undergoes a rigorous three-step purification process, and it is then fortified with essential vitamins A, B12, C, and D for added nutritional value.
As the first bottled water in the U.S. to receive the Clean Label Project Certification, Chlorophyll Water is independently tested for over 90 potential environmental toxins, including heavy metals, pesticide residues, plasticizers (like BPA, BPS, and phthalates), and other chemicals of concern. This certification reflects the brand’s commitment to ingredient transparency, safety, and consumer trust.
In addition to health benefits, Chlorophyll Water is equally focused on sustainability. Each bottle is made from 100% recycled plastic and utilizes Avery Dennison’s CleanFlake label technology, which ensures the label separates cleanly during the recycling process—maximizing the quality of PET recycling and reducing contamination.
Furthering its environmental mission, Chlorophyll Water has partnered with rePurpose Global to help tackle plastic pollution. For every bottle sold, the equivalent of one ocean-bound plastic bottle is recovered and recycled, reducing the need for virgin plastic and supporting a circular economy.
Founder Matt Levine shares, “Chlorophyll Water is deeply committed to sustainability and using innovation to reduce the environmental impact of packaging. By initially launching with landfill-biodegradable bottles and now transitioning to 100% recycled plastic, we’re making meaningful strides in reducing virgin plastic usage. Our partnership with rePurpose Global is another step forward—helping to prevent ocean-bound plastic pollution with every bottle sold.”
Chlorophyll Water has earned the endorsement of health professionals, holistic nutritionists, and wellness experts. Dr. Kelly Bay, a functional medicine practitioner, explains, “Chlorophyll is a powerful antioxidant that supports detoxification and helps the body eliminate toxins. It also reduces inflammation, which can benefit individuals dealing with chronic inflammatory issues like arthritis. I’m a big fan of Chlorophyll Water, especially for those who may not consume enough leafy greens.”
Certified Holistic Health Coach Luli Gamburd adds, “When I began drinking Chlorophyll Water each morning, I felt an immediate improvement in energy levels and hydration. Over time, my skin became clearer, my complexion more even, and I just felt better overall—from the inside out.”
Pavilions’ commitment to premium, wellness-driven products makes it the perfect retail partner for Chlorophyll Water’s continued expansion across California.
