Leyenda 1925, a new standard in luxury tequila, proudly announces its official debut and exclusive availability in the U.S. Rooted in nearly a century of tradition, the brand brings the legacy of Juan, Julio, and Monste González, from Los Altos de Jalisco, México, to consumers in the U.S., offering a collection that is both sophisticated and deeply personal.

Crafted in honor of the González family's patriarch, Leyenda 1925 is a tribute to generations of agave cultivation, artisanal practices, and the spirit of family. The vision was born from Julio González and his lifelong passion for the land and a shared dream with his cousins Juan and Monste González, creating a tequila that reflects their heritage, values, and commitment to excellence.

“Our journey with tequila began as young boys, learning from our grandfather as we watched him craft each batch with care, patience, and deep respect for the agave and our land,” said Julio and Juan González, Co-Founders of Leyenda 1925 Spirits. “He passed down more than just technique, he instilled in us a passion for tradition, a pride in our roots, and a reverence for the culture that surrounds tequila making. Every bottle we create is not only a reflection of our family's generations of craftsmanship, but a visual and sensory tribute to the heritage we carry forward, from the flavor profile to the artistic design of each bottle, which tells the story of our people, our land, and our legacy.”

The debut collection includes three variations, each offering a unique experience:

  • Leyenda 1925 Blanco – Clean, pure, and 100% additive-free. A crystal-clear tequila with soft citrus notes and smooth sweetness, ideal for sipping or refined cocktails.
  • Leyenda 1925 Reposado – Aged 8 months in white oak barrels, delivering a velvety texture and a warm, woody complexity that deepens its character.
  • Leyenda 1925 Añejo – A rich, full-bodied tequila designed for sipping, aged for 18 months. Its depth, balance, and elegance make it a standout for connoisseurs seeking an authentic, aged agave expression.

The cousins found a natural partner in Massachusetts-based innovator Joe Correia, whose passion for authentic storytelling and luxury lifestyle experiences aligned perfectly with the spirit of Leyenda 1925. Correia joined the founders as a steward of the brand, taking the lead on its expansion in the U.S. market.

“As someone who has spent the past 18 years studying brands and elevating luxury experiences, joining Leyenda 1925 felt like a natural evolution of my passion,” said Joe Correia, President of Leyenda 1925 Spirits. “This isn’t just another tequila; it’s a cultural statement and a taste of generational craftsmanship. It’s a humbling honor to help Juan, Julio, and Montse introduce Leyenda 1925 to a market that appreciates authenticity, innovation, exceptional taste and tangibly presents a new benchmark for what luxury tequila can be.”

At Leyenda 1925, tequila is more than just a product, it’s a reflection of deep passion and purpose. That passion extends beyond the bottle, driving meaningful engagement with local communities in Mexico. Montse González, one of the brand’s guiding forces, channels this spirit by organizing tours, tastings, and distillery visits that raise funds for Jaltepec, an organization that empowers women in vulnerable situations through education and career development. Through this ongoing commitment, Leyenda 1925 honors the communities that have shaped its story, using tequila as a vehicle for impact, empowerment, and lasting change.

Each bottle is meticulously designed by the family bringing authenticity and aesthetic appeal to its already tasteful experience. This exclusive launch in Massachusetts represents the first step in bringing this generational legacy to consumers in North America.

Leyenda 1925 is now available at select premium retailers and fine dining establishments, bars, and clubs throughout the New England area.

About Leyenda 1925: Leyenda 1925 is a luxury tequila brand rooted in nearly a century of tradition, craftsmanship, and family legacy. Originating in the heart of Los Altos de Jalisco, México, Leyenda 1925 pays homage to generations of agave farmers and tequila makers who have honored the land with deep respect and unwavering dedication since 1925. Founded by Julio, Juan, and Montse González, Leyenda 1925 was born from a shared vision to preserve their heritage and share it with the world. The brand is inspired by the pioneering spirit of their grandfather, whose profound connection to the agave fields and love for the culture of tequila sparked the dream of creating something truly meaningful, an enduring tribute to their ancestors and the traditions that shaped them. Every bottle of Leyenda 1925 reflects this generational commitment to authenticity, excellence, and craftsmanship. From the careful cultivation of agave to the refined production process, Leyenda 1925 represents a promise to honor the past while redefining the future of luxury tequila. Imported by 1925 Spirits LLC, Wilmington, Mass., 40% alcohol by volume.
