A former Netflix reality star and a veteran of the supplement industry are teaming up to disrupt the protein category. Meet FLYTE, a clean and refreshing clear whey protein + electrolyte drink designed for people who want protein that tastes and hydrates like a sports drink.

Founded by Love Is Blind Season 8 cast member, Joey, and a former creative director behind a top-tier supplement brand, Kirk, FLYTE was born from the shared frustration: most protein drinks are thick, filled with artificial junk, and overly sweet; plus, they ignore basic hydration.

“We wanted something lighter,” says co-founder Joey. “Something that felt like reaching for a sports drink after a workout. But packed with protein and electrolytes.” 

“We describe it as tasting like a Gatorade, but it also has 23g of protein in it.” says Kirk. “It’s always funny to hear people look at us in shock as they reiterate, ‘there’s PROTEIN in this?’” 

FLYTE launched with two bold, refreshing flavors: Blue Razz and Watermelon, both formulated with:

  • 23g of clear whey isolate protein from grass-fed whey
  • 419 mg of hydrating electrolytes
  • No artificial ingredients, colors or dyes
  • Only 90 calories per serving

Unlike traditional protein powders, FLYTE mixes smoothly in water, is easy on the stomach, and doubles as a post-workout recovery drink or midday pick-me-up. Making it ideal for athletes, gym-goers, and anyone tired of thick shakes and bloating.

FLYTE is based in Minneapolis, MN, and has already built a loyal community through pop-ups, social media, and early fan feedback. “We’re here for people who care about clean ingredients but also want something fun and deliciously drinkable,” says the team.
