Tsingtao Celebrates Record-Breaking Growth in the U.S. & Extends Partnership with Paulaner USA

Paulaner USA and Tsingtao, the #1 Chinese imported beer in the U.S., are proud to announce the extension of their exclusive U.S. import agreement, reinforcing their successful partnership and shared commitment to driving Tsingtao’s growth in the U.S. market. Since establishing their relationship in 2021, Paulaner USA has driven consistent double-digit growth for Tsingtao in both volume and distribution. This renewal underscores the collaborative success in expanding Tsingtao’s U.S. footprint, elevating brand visibility, and navigating complex trade dynamics.

“This partnership extension is a reflection of Tsingtao’s incredible momentum in the U.S. and the trust we have built with our wholesalers and consumers,” said Andy Glaser, President and CEO of Paulaner USA. “By continuing to work together, we will further strengthen Tsingtao’s presence as the premier imported Asian beer.”

Tsingtao has a long and storied heritage dating back to its founding in 1903, making it one of the most recognized and respected beer brands globally. Its commitment to quality and brewing excellence has allowed it to become an internationally acclaimed beer, enjoyed by consumers in more than 120 countries. Through the collaborative efforts between Paulaner USA and Tsingtao, the brand has seen extraordinary success in the U.S. market. According to IRI data, Tsingtao, one of America’s top imported Asian beers, has achieved nearly 20% growth in 2024. This success stems from the powerful combination of Tsingtao's rich heritage and Paulaner USA's robust distribution network, which has enabled strategic market expansion nationwide.

To build on this momentum, Paulaner USA and Tsingtao are pleased to announce the extension of their successful partnership, ensuring continued growth and innovation in the U.S. market. This extension follows a highly successful initial contract period, during which Tsingtao expanded its footprint across all 50 states and introduced its growing portfolio to align with the U.S. consumer trends. Tsingtao has expanded its premium lager product line with the introduction of its non-alcoholic beer, Tsingtao 0.0, and its premium offering, Tsingtao 1903. The brand will continue to evolve by introducing innovative packaging and products to meet changing consumer preferences.
