Honored with Five Tasting Medals in Celebration of the Pacific Northwest’s Vibrant Cider Scene
Corvallis, OR – July 7, 2025 — 2 Towns Ciderhouse is proud to be recognized as the Large Cidery of the Year at the 2025 Northwest Cider Cup (PICC), earning top honors and multiple tasting medals.
Now in its 12th year, the Northwest Cider Cup is a widely respected competition organized by the Northwest Cider Association (NWCA). It brings together cideries from Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, and British Columbia, with entries evaluated by trained judges on appearance, aroma, flavor, and mouthfeel. This year’s event featured 231 entries, with just 25% of cideries taking home medals. This competition honors the bounty and craftsmanship that define the Pacific Northwest as a world-class cider-producing region.
“It’s a true honor to be recognized among such a talented and visionary community of cider makers,” said Dave Takush, Head Cidermaker at 2 Towns Ciderhouse. “This win is a testament to the craft, care, and creativity our team pours into every cider—and to the collective passion that drives this industry forward. It’s deeply inspiring to celebrate alongside our peers and see the hard work across our region so thoughtfully recognized.”
2 Towns Ciderhouse brought home a strong showing of medals across multiple categories:
- GOLD – Made Marion (Co-Fermented)
- GOLD – Sidra Natural (Other)
- SILVER – Sidekick Pacific Pineapple (Low/No Alcohol)
- SILVER – 14th Anniversary (Low-Tannin Ciders – Dry)
- BRONZE – The Bad Apple (Wood/Oaked Cider)
“As we continue to explore new frontiers in craft cider, it’s exciting to see our efforts recognized on such a competitive stage,” said Lee Larsen, CEO and co-founder of 2 Towns Ciderhouse. “We’re grateful to the Northwest Cider Association for cultivating a vibrant, collaborative cider community, and we’re excited for what the future holds for this dynamic industry.”
