Fourth Batch of Limited Release Bourbon Introduces Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished in Rolling Fork Rum Casks
Louisville, Kentucky – September 15, 2025 – After selling out their first three batches, Rolling Fork Spirits has released a fourth batch of their limited release small batch bourbon, Bourbon de Luxe. Batch 4 of Bourbon de Luxe is the first cask finished release in the Bourbon de Luxe series, which features well-aged bourbon finished in award winning Rolling Fork Rum casks.
“This particular release has been a very long time in the works, as we’ve built a great following with our award winning Rolling Fork Rum releases. We knew we wanted to leverage our high quality rum casks to give customers a unique experience,” said Rolling Fork Co-Founder Turner Wathen.
Rolling Fork selected four barrels of seven-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon distilled in Bardstown, Ky. and finished in Rolling Fork Rum casks for the fourth batch of Bourbon de Luxe. Bottled at high proof (111 proof), it offers notes of vanilla, caramelized sugar, and light baking spice with tropical fruit and molasses notes from the rum casks.
“We had a specific goal in mind when we made this finished bourbon. We wanted to make our version of a ‘summer bourbon’–something with a little lighter profile and ready to take its place as a bourbon that just works well for warm weather grilling, pool days, and tropical cocktails,” said Rolling Fork Co-Founder Jordan Morris. “Because we have direct knowledge of the Rolling Fork Rum casks we used, we were able to tailor the bourbon to the profile we wanted.
The fourth release of Bourbon de Luxe is limited to under 1,200 bottles and is available now in limited markets and online at Seelbachs.com for $65.
About Bourbon de Luxe:Bourbon de Luxe traces its roots back to 1911. The brand survived Prohibition after being acquired by the R.W. Wathen Co. in 1926, and it was folded into American Medicinal Spirits Co. portfolio in 1927 (one of six permit holders to sell medicinal whiskey). The return of Bourbon de Luxe in 2024 marks the revival of this historic brand, which follows the motto created by the Wathen family in 1788: No Finer Spirits Can Be Made.
