Wakefield, RI - USA (October 15, 2025) - Mezcal Trascendente, an artisanal mezcal focused on sustainability and the rich cultural heritage of Mexico, is proud to announce the launch of Tamarindo in the United States. This unique creation combines Espadín mezcal and natural tamarind flavor and aroma. Mezcal Trascendente Tamarindo will be available in over 15 markets by the end of 2025.
Launched in 2020, Mezcal Trascendente is dedicated to honoring Mexican tradition and family values through exceptional artisanal mezcal. The brand has modernized tradition by refining every step of the production process—from selecting perfectly mature agaves and shaving them down to perfection, to cooking with sweet wood, using a wild, slow fermentation process with natural yeasts, and reducing combustion smoke exposure to the agaves—ensuring that the pure flavors and aromas of the plant are showcased.
Mezcal Trascendente Tamarindo stands out for its tropical notes blended with the sweet notes of cooked maguey (agave). Made with Mezcal Trascendente Espadín (40% ABV), Tamarindo displays flavors of dried fruits balanced with soft citrus. It finishes with a silky and unctuous texture, and is best served chilled.
"With Tamarindo, we're not just bringing a new flavor to the U.S. market, we're opening mezcal to a whole new type of drinker," says Piercarlo Bianciardi Salcido, COO, Mezcal Trascendente. "It's bold, playful, and deeply rooted in our culture, crafted to surprise palates and expand how people experience mezcal. We're especially excited to see how bartenders will play with it, creating fresh expressions and introducing mezcal to audiences that may have never explored the category before."

ABOUT SPIRIBAM
Spiribam's mission to bring the finest Caribbean rum to American shores dates back to 2005 when Rhum Clément was first introduced in the United States. The role of the company quickly evolved into an educational one focused on the advancement of Rhum Agricole from Martinique, and soon Spiribam introduced Rhum J.M. Seeking out rums of different origins, the company added St. Lucia Distillers to the portfolio, beginning with the re-launch of Chairman's Reserve followed by the introduction of Bounty Rum and Admiral Rodney. Soon after, Spiribam acquired Mauritius brands Arcane and Beach House, which are not yet available in North America, as well as the French Guyanese distillery that produces La Belle Cabresse. The first acquisition outside of rum came in 2021 with the arrival of Joseph Cartron Liqueurs from Burgundy. Spiribam furthered its development with the appointment of Hardy Cognac for the United States. Follow Spiribam at @spiribam.
