What happens when one of the country's best donut shops joins forces with the soda brand redefining the beverage aisle? You get the poppi x The Salty collaboration, a playful and flavor-packed nod to one of America's most nostalgic desserts: the root beer float. Available at all Salty shops nationwide from October 20–26, the limited-edition menu will feature one donut and two drinks that reimagine a soda fountain classic for today's generation.
At the center of the collab is the poppi x The Salty Root Beer Float Donut, a decadent creation made with a 24-hour brioche base glazed in Root Beer poppi, filled with mascarpone whipped cream and finished with a drizzle of Root Beer poppi caramel. Guests can pair the donut with two refreshing, limited-time beverages: the poppi x The Salty Dirty Root Beer Float, made with Root Beer poppi topped with The Salty housemade vanilla bean cold foam; and the poppi x The Salty Root Beer & Cherry Espresso Tonic, made with Root Beer poppi paired with housemade cherry vanilla syrup & black cat espresso over ice. Both drinks are served in a custom 16oz poppi x The Salty cup, featuring a QR code for guests to scan for a chance to win free poppi for a year.

Founded in Miami, The Salty has become nationally recognized, and named "one of the best donut shops in America" various times, for its artisanal donuts, craft coffee selections and seasonal collabs that have ranged from food & beverage and apparel brands to cultural icons. Last year, The Salty partnered with former Miami HEAT star Jimmy Butler and his brand BIGFACE Coffee for a wildly successful, limited-run collab.
Meanwhile, poppi is shaking up the soda world with its prebiotic sodas made with organic apple cider vinegar and prebiotics from organic agave inulin and cassava root fiber. With bold flavors and a mission to make soda fun and functional, poppi has become a cultural favorite, appearing everywhere from celebrity fridges to viral TikToks.
The poppi x The Salty collab will be available at all Salty locations for one week only, from October 20–26, 2025, while supplies last. Pricing starts at $5.75 for the Root Beer Float Donut and $6.50 for the drinks.
