FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW YORK, January 8, 2026 — Black Market, the federally compliant, hemp-derived Delta-9 THC beverage brand known for blending luxury with rebellion, is stepping decisively into the fashion conversation with Highly Anticipated, a limited-edition capsule collection launching in partnership with Patricia Field and four of the legendary retailer's featured designers. Timed to culminate during February Fashion Week, the program positions Black Market as an unexpected — and intentional — player in New York's fashion ecosystem.
The Highly Anticipated capsule collection will be available exclusively through Patricia Field's physical boutique and online platform, with an in-store Fashion Week event planned for February featuring designer vignettes, designer-customized Black Market bottles, and Black Market pouring. One hundred percent of proceeds from the capsule items go directly to Patricia Field and the participating designers, reinforcing the project's ethos of creative patronage over brand extraction.
"This is not merch," said a Black Market's CMO, Heidi Minx, who architected the collection. "This is about showing up in fashion the same way we show up in culture — unapologetically, and in direct collaboration with the artists who move it forward. So many great creatives find their inner muse amplified while high - we wanted to fuel that and see what they created while 'UNDER THE INFLUENCE'."
Why It Matters
At a time when hemp-derived THC brands are fighting recent legislation that seeks to extinguish them, Highly Anticipated seeks to reinforce the importance of hemp production in the US via New York's creative community.
Each designer is creating limited accessories or apparel inspired by Black Market. Select designers are also choosing to custom-design hemp tote bags in solidarity with American hemp producers, underscoring the collection's alignment with craft, materiality, and the future of the hemp industry.
"We chose to work with Black Market after they poured at our September Fashion Week event — the response was immediate," said Michael Robinson, manager of Patricia Field's. "Patricia has always been about pushing boundaries and championing what's next. That interest only deepened after the recent legislation moved to close the 2018 Farm Bill provision that allowed hemp beverages. This collaboration is about visibility, solidarity, and creative resistance — values that have always defined Pat."

She wanted to wear what she couldn't find, and as the original muse for her designs throughout the city, people started to notice and wanted a piece of the vibe. She quickly started styling various artists, working on custom commissions for RuPaul's Drag Race queens, hosting and collaborating with nightlife royalty and being contacted by the highest caliber of stylists – all of which led to collaborating with Lady Gaga's team amongst other notable artists for custom SSIK drips.

About Patricia Field's ART/FASHION GALLERY
Patricia Field, a native New Yorker, boutique owner and style innovator, has worked closely for years with a who's-who of creative visionaries. From iconic artists of decades past like Keith Haring and Basquiat (who sold painted t-shirts in her famous 8th Street shop) to burgeoning talents of today, art has always played an integral role in her world. Having grown weary and uninspired by the era of 'fast-fashion' and mass production, style connoisseurs are bucking the trend by seeking out one-of-a-kind, artistically-driven designs. Pat's 'ART/FASHION' Gallery is comprised entirely of original made-to-order, hand crafted pieces by a select group of artists, curated by Field and sold exclusively at her shop and on her website.
