HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (January 14, 2026) – Joe Gibbs Racing announced today that the organization has signed a multi-year agreement with Free Bird, the rapidly-growing Southern Spring Water brand with a free-spirited twist. Free Bird will be the primary partner on Chase Briscoe's No. 19 Toyota Camry in three NASCAR Cup Series races in 2026 – Darlington Raceway on March 22, EchoPark Speedway on July 12, and the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL on October 11.
"We are thrilled to help introduce Free Bird to our NASCAR community," said Eric Schaffer, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Joe Gibbs Racing. "The Southern Spring Water was created to celebrate America making them a great partner for Chase Briscoe and our No. 19 team."
This partnership further expands Free Bird's footprint within NASCAR that launched with the brand signing a personal services agreement with Briscoe in October 2025. Free Bird will utilize localized fan experiences and retail promotions designed to strengthen the connection between Free Bird, Joe Gibbs Racing, and race fans across the country.
"Partnering with Joe Gibbs Racing is a huge milestone for Free Bird," said Jay Williams, Founder of Free Bird. "As a young brand, aligning with an organization that sets the standard in NASCAR is incredibly meaningful to us, and we're proud to be part of a team that shows up prepared and performs when it matters most. We're also grateful to K2 Sports Marketing for their leadership and partnership in helping bring this opportunity to life."
Briscoe had the best season of his five-year Cup Series career in 2025 with three wins, 15 top-five finishes, 19 top-10s, seven pole awards, and 884 laps led. He earned his way into the Championship 4 with his victory at Talladega Superspeedway and finished third in the final standings. Briscoe won back-to-back Southern 500 races at Darlington in 2024 and 2025 and earned poles at three of the four 2025 crown jewel races (Daytona 500, Coca-Cola 600, and Brickyard 400).
"The partnership between JGR and Free Bird is an exciting one," Briscoe said. "From the beginning, Free Bird was a natural fit for me. They are an all-American brand that has a lot of the same values that I do, so I am looking forward to having them on the car for three races this year. Darlington, Atlanta, and Charlotte are all tracks where the brand fits perfectly and I think race fans attending will enjoy seeing their cool branding around the track."
