Penelope Bourbon is proud to announce a first-of-its-kind collaboration with beloved home furnishings brand Serena & Lily, unveiling the Beaufain Four Grain Bourbon—a limited-edition spirit inspired by the beauty of Charleston, South Carolina's Lowcountry.
Born from a shared appreciation for style, quality, and artistry, the partnership was a natural fit. Garden & Gun, a longtime champion of craftsmanship and Southern culture, served as the connective thread between the two brands—each known for elevating tradition through thoughtful, modern innovation. Together, Penelope Bourbon and Serena & Lily have crafted something entirely unique: a bourbon that looks as exquisite as it tastes, perfectly timed to uncork at the opening of Serena & Lily's inaugural Charleston storefront in January 2026.
The Beaufain Four Grain Bourbon embodies the brand's signature attention to detail and effortless sophistication—translating its timeless design sensibility into the world of fine spirits.
Brought to life by Penelope Bourbon cofounder and master blender Danny Polise, Beaufain is an 84-proof, four-grain bourbon custom-blended exclusively for this release. The flavor profile evokes warmth and sophistication, with caramel, vanilla, toasted grain, and sweet corn on the body, followed by lingering vanilla, a touch of oak, and light baking spice on the finish. "It's a bourbon made with Charleston in mind. A blend that makes you want to slow down and enjoy each sip," said Polise.
"We couldn't be more excited to collaborate with Serena & Lily on this limited release," said Michael Paladini, Penelope cofounder and vice president of strategy. "Much like Serena & Lily brings the Beaufain design to life through pattern and texture, we approached this blend by thoughtfully curating flavors with the same intention the brand brings to its designs."
The bespoke bottle design draws inspiration from a historic wallpaper—a floral motif discovered in a Charleston home on Beaufain Street from 1838. Just as the wallpaper layers history and intrigue, the bourbon mirrors the nuanced, time-honored complexity of the Lowcountry itself.
"The Beaufain pattern captures the gracious spirit of Charleston—the blend of heritage, artistry, and warmth that defines Southern hospitality," said Carla Rummo, chief marketing and ecommerce officer at Serena & Lily. "Translating that design into a bourbon collaboration felt like a natural extension of our world, where every detail, from pattern to pour, reflects the joy of celebration and decoration."
Only 246 cases of Beaufain Four Grain Bourbon will be produced. The bottle will be available for purchase online and at select liquor retailers in Charleston, South Carolina, and surrounding markets—while supplies last.
To toast the collaboration—ideal for sipping neat or crafting elegant cocktails—mixologist Nic Wallace has created the Lowcountry Lilt, a bright and balanced drink showcasing Beaufain's refined flavor.
