MINNEAPOLIS, MN - February 2026 - Bizzy Cold Brew, an organic and handcrafted coffee brand known for its cold brew portfolio, is expanding into a new format with the nationwide rollout of Double Espresso Shots, a portable and pre-portioned espresso designed for busy and ambition-driven lifestyles.
The Double Espresso Shots mark Bizzy's newest line extension and introduce a new consumption occasion for the brand: packaged espresso to sip, shoot, or mix. While espresso remains a staple in cafés, Bizzy identified a gap in retail for a convenient, shelf-ready espresso option that delivers quality and simplicity without added sugar or artificial ingredients.

The product was soft-launched in summer 2025 through a limited number of co-op retailers in Minnesota to test consumer response and merchandising. Following strong early traction, the line has since expanded to approximately 1,000 grocery stores nationwide, where it is typically merchandised alongside ready-to-drink (RTD) cold coffee offerings.
As the natural products industry prepares for Natural Products Expo West, Bizzy comes with the Double Espresso Shots as a timely extension of its portfolio, aligned with evolving consumer routines and the continued growth of on-the-go coffee consumption.
According to the National Coffee Association of U.S.A., cold coffee growth in the U.S. is increasingly driven by convenience, with cold coffee drinkers significantly more likely to purchase coffee out-of-home and choose RTD formats. The association's 2025 Cold Coffee Consumer Insight Report also shows that RTD coffee consumption has nearly doubled over the past decade, reinforcing the role of portability and accessibility in shaping modern coffee habits.
Available in three roast profiles such as Blonde, Medium, and Dark, the Double Espresso Shots complement Bizzy's existing RTD cold brew lineup while offering a more concentrated and flexible coffee experience.
The launch builds on Bizzy's continued momentum. In 2025, the company was named to Bain & Company's Insurgent Brands list, which recognized its growth and disruptive potential within the beverage category.
