CO2Sustain Unifies Technologies into One Breakthrough Product

CO2Sustain, the specialist drinks technology company, today announced the merger of its two flagship solutions - CO2Sustain™ and TasteMod2™ into a single, next-generation product TM2 engineered to deliver two powerful benefits for drink manufacturers:

1. Superior taste modification

2. Enhanced carbonation retention


This strategic move comes in direct response to feedback from leading brands, co-packers and NPD teams around the world, who increasingly seek a single, multifunctional solution to solve modern formulation and production challenges.


As demand grows for low- and no-sugar drinks, manufacturers face intensified challenges around sweetener aftertastes, carbonation stability and foaming during production. Customers told CO2Sustain they wanted a simpler, more powerful product that brings all performance benefits together so they can:


  • streamline formulations and improve the consumer drink experience
  • reduce stevia foaming issues on production lines,
  • accelerate NPD timelines,
  • and maintain product quality at scale.

TM2 is the new, unified CO2Sustain product has been engineered to deliver the complete functional performance expected from both original solutions:


Taste improvement: Reduces bitterness, metallic notes and lingering sweetness often associated with modern sweetener systems, enhancing flavour clarity and mouthfeel.


Carbonation retention: Stabilises CO2 more effectively, helping drinks stay fizzier for longer and improving the consumer experience from first sip to last.


This integration strengthens CO2Sustain’s commitment to continuous innovation and customer-driven development. By simplifying its portfolio, the business is making its technology more accessible, ensuring beverage developers can benefit from maximum functionality with minimal formulation complexity.
