Ysidro Sake Spritz Transitions Distribution to Breakthru Beverage Group to Support Statewide Expansion

California — [February 26, 2026] — Ysidro Sake Spritz, a California-based premium beverage brand with placements ranging from Michelin-recognized restaurants to convenience retail, announced it has transitioned its distribution to Breakthru Beverage Group. After rolling out new packaging, closing a round of funding, and teasing a new flavor, Ysidro capped 2025 by signing with Breakthru Beverage Group.

The move follows Ysidro's initial market development with regional distributor Revel, where the brand focused on building retail density and establishing repeat purchase velocity in key markets before pursuing broader expansion.

"Early on, our priority was proving demand and building sustainable movement at shelf," said Monica Epstein, Founder and CEO of Ysidro. "Our partnership with Revel allowed us to concentrate on market development. Transitioning to Breakthru positions us to expand that foundation with the infrastructure needed for broader statewide execution."

As retail buyers tighten assortment strategies and place greater emphasis on velocity performance, emerging brands are under increasing pressure to demonstrate consistent sell-through before expanding footprint. Distributor infrastructure now plays a critical role in servicing larger account networks, maintaining in-stock reliability, and supporting retail execution at scale.

Breakthru Beverage Group provides Ysidro with expanded logistics capabilities and access to a broader network of on- and off-premise accounts throughout California. The company intends to scale deliberately, maintaining density within high-performing markets while incrementally increasing geographic reach.

"Our focus has never been expansion for its own sake," Monica added. "Each stage of growth requires the right operational alignment. This transition ensures our distribution platform matches the demand we've built."

The company will support the expanded footprint with targeted activation, sampling initiatives, and continued brand-building efforts designed to reinforce repeat purchase behavior and drive measurable velocity gains.

With foundational demand and expanded distribution infrastructure in place, Ysidro enters its next chapter positioned for disciplined statewide growth. The transition signals not just broader reach, but operational readiness to compete and perform across larger networks.
