Kautz Family of Ironstone Vineyards Acquires Portfolio of California Wine and Beverage Brands

NAPA, CALIF., August 25, 2026 — Quintessential, the family-owned wine company dedicated to representing world-class, multi-generational wineries, today announced that the Kautz family, owners of Ironstone Vineyards, has acquired a portfolio of California wine and beverage brands from Allan Lombardi, owner of Thomas Allen Winery, effective immediately. Quintessential, Ironstone Vineyards’ U.S. sales, marketing and distribution partner, will represent the newly acquired wine brands nationally.
The acquisition includes Hook or Crook Cellars, Provenance Vineyards, Fortitude by Provenance, Red Phoenix, Thomas Allen Winery, Samuel Lindsay Wines, Landing 63, Weekday Wines and Weekday Water.

The Acquired Portfolio:
Provenance Vineyards — Founded in 1999, Provenance is known for wines that express a distinctive sense of place, led by Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with additional wines from the North Coast, Monterey and Paso Robles.
Fortitude Cabernet Sauvignon by Provenance Vineyards — A bold, full-bodied Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from acclaimed vineyards across Rutherford, Oakville, Diamond Mountain, Yountville and Howell Mountain.
Hook or Crook Cellars — Approachable Lodi wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon and a signature Reserve Field Blend.
Thomas Allen Winery — Lodi wines known for their rich California character and accessible pricing, including Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and a Red Wine Blend.
Red Phoenix — Concentrated California reds led by Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and a California Red Wine Blend.
Samuel Lindsay Wines — A California portfolio of Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Red Blend inspired by the perseverance and craftsmanship of its namesake, railroad worker Samuel Lindsay.
Landing 63 — Approachable California wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Heritage Red.
Weekday Wines — A lighter wine collection made with organically grown grapes, with zero sugar, 80 calories and 9% ABV, available in Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Weekday Water — A still, vodka-based canned cocktail with natural fruit flavors, zero sugar, 90 calories and 4.5% ABV.
