While most ready to drink coffee beverages use coffee, milk, sugar, and a bunch of other stuff in their formulations, few have really gone after the super-premium coffee consumer. Stumptown, a coffee retailer that caters to the coffee geek, has thrown its hat in the ring with “Cold Brew,” a straight coffee drink (it’s literally just coffee) with a very short shelf life. If you’re the type of person who drinks coffee black or are someone who likes to prepare their own iced coffee, then this is the perfect choice for you. Aside from having a bold brew of Stumptown coffee, the 10.5 oz. bottle is short and, well, stumpy. The bottle feels like the perfect choice for the coffee inside and the Stumptown brand in the sense that it’s very unique and high-end looking, with the silk screened label feeling like something that you should keep after you are done with it. Overall, if they were trying to create a bottled coffee that even the snobbiest of coffee snobs will drink, we think they’ve hit the nail on the head.
