SEATTLE — DRY Soda Co., the Seattle-based brand that is at the forefront of the better-for-you soda movement, has added four new flavors – Apple, Ginger, Pear and Cherry – to its gourmet soda lineup, all developed in partnership with the brand’s Creative Director, Richard Blais, “Top Chef” winner, television personality, restaurateur and author. The brand will be sampling its newest flavors at Expo West in Anaheim, Booth 5215.
DRY’s new offerings are inspired by the nostalgia for flavors not often seen in the culinary scene, or less-sweet interpretations on tried and true flavors in the soda industry. Apple DRY, at 65 calories, has a balanced sweetness and crisp finish found in Washington Braeburn apples. Blais ensured that Pear DRY was bright and captured the hint of spice that is found in the fruit’s skin. Cherry DRY, with its luscious, rich and juicy flavor, evokes that warm, summer cherry essence. Ginger DRY is more assertive and sophisticated than traditional ginger ales, which can be more than 130 calories (compared to Ginger DRY’s 65 calories per 12 oz. serving).
All DRY Sodas feature only four all-natural ingredients – purified carbonated water, natural fruit, flower and herb flavorings, pure cane sugar, and a clean tasting preservative – and are 1/4 to 1/3 of the sugar and calories of traditional sodas.
DRY Soda will also be showing off its new 12 oz. slim aluminum can packaging that debuted in 2013 in traditional and specialty retailers around the country. The sleek new design makes it easier than ever to enjoy DRY at outdoor events and on-the-go, making it the perfect complement to any entertaining and/or dining occasion. The cans are sold individually at retailers for $1.29. DRY’s packaging and brand aesthetic has been recognized in numerous design award shows, magazines and publications.
