The name 'Amé' is derived from the Japanese word for 'gentle rain'. Amé is a lightly sparkling soft drink containing fruit juices, spring water, and a unique blend of eastern herbal extracts (Schisandra, Jasmine, Gentian, and Limeflower). Amé is first and foremost a delicious tasting soft drink, primarily drunk for its refreshment and taste benefits. It meets numerous and varied consumption occasions - both food led and drink led, socially, and 'simply as a treat'. Although often misconstrued as simply being an alcohol substitute, Amé is drunk by its frequent consumers as a more everyday, anytime, anywhere refreshing & healthy soft drink.

BevNET Review: Amé Red is a very sophisticated non-alcoholic sparkling beverage that has a very light and refreshing flavor. The flavor consists of a variety of fruit juice flavors, including grape, elderberry, and lemon, that has a dry finish. In addition, the product has been enhanced with several herbal extracts to give it a relaxing herbal finish. Overall, we love the packaging and what's inside -- a very different style of beverage that's definitely worth a try.Reviewed on: 2/20/2003

BevNET Review: Rose is another fine sparkling beverage that has a very mild fruit flavor. The beautiful packaging also enhances this product quite a bit. A true adult beverage with a very sophisticated look and feel! As for the fruit flavor, there are hints of passionfruit and lychee flavors and it's finished off with several herbal extracts, including schizandra, limeflower, jasmine, and gentian. BevNET Review: With a light apricot and Jasmine flavor, Amé White is the lightest flavor of the brand. In addition, this product has very low levels carbohyrades compared to traditional soft drinks, so you can expect a very subtle sweetness to this beverage. Honestly, we think we can best describe this product as something that is just a bit stronger than a flavored seltzer. Overall, a very adult beverage in a beautiful package.Reviewed on: 2/20/2003
