BevNET Review: Well, this stuff does manage to have a lighter, less syrupy taste than you’d imagine; maybe that’s because, as the can says, this product is “Infused with Kabbalah Water.” But it’s actually infused with high-fructose corn syrup, citric acid, and all kinds of artificial flavors, none of which really taste like anything except other energy drinks we’ve tried. We like the red-and-silver on blue can, which has nice, rich colors, and the product doesn’t have the energy drink bitter caffeine taste, but we’re not sure who this is aimed at: Kabbalah practitioners who go to nightclubs? Hasidim who shop at 7-Eleven? This isn’t going far.Reviewed on: 8/8/2005

BevNET Review: This product might be infused with real Kabbalah water, but it largely tastes like it was infused with heaping portion of Splenda for its sweetener. Although you taste a bit of berry flavor up front, afterwards the taste of this product is nearly all artificial sweetener. And while it doesn’t have much of a caffeine tang, that’s about all it’s got going for it. The red-on-white can is pretty nondescript, and the tag line, “source of power!” is only going to be worthwhile to people who are already into the pop culture aspects of Kabbalah. This is a great example of a drink that might be mentioned more in the gossip columns than on re-order forms.Reviewed on: 8/8/2005
