New York Seltzer is an old-fashioned "soda." These flavored seltzers come in several different flavors, including root beer, strawberry, lemon & lime and others. Update: New York Seltzer is being sold at Big Lots!. They are being sold in glass four-packs in the following flavors: Orange-Tangerine Black Cherry Strawberry Raspberry Vanilla Cream It also states that there are only 5 calories per serving.

BevNET Review: Although we thought that New York Seltzer was gone, it's still here. The only change that it has undergone over the years is that it now comes in 16oz plastic bottles instead of smaller (10oz?) glass bottles. The taste of this beverage is quite natural. It is basically seltzer with a subtle hint of black cherry flavor. Not too much that it tastes like a soda and not too little that it tastes like Perrier or something. BevNET Review: Lemon & Lime Soda is a very bitter and sour sparkling beverage. This flavor is not as sweet as the other flavors of New York Seltzer, but it is still on the sweet side. It's mellow, but highly carbonated. Overall, a fairly decent beverage. Reviewed on: 5/31/2001

BevNET Review: New York Seltzer Raspberry Soda is a very light and slightly sweet fruit flavored soda. While it doesn't have any fruit juice, we did think that the raspberry flavor was fairly tasty. This beverage is quite highly carbonated, so if you don't like carbonation, then this is not the beverage for you.Reviewed on: 5/31/2001

BevNET Review: New York Seltzer Root Beer Soda is a very mellow, clear root beer. It's not a very potent root beer, but if you are looking for a very light sparkling water, this is a great choice. BevNET Review: This beverage is the perfect thing to drink when you want something that is not too heavy and not too sweet. We only know of one other vanilla flavored beverage (Snapple Creme d' Vanilla) and this one we prefer of the two. New York Seltzer Vanilla Cream is such a cool and refreshing beverage. We miss the little glass bottles, though...they gave it a little more personality.Reviewed on: 5/31/2001
