ALBANS, VT (September 6, 2017) – DRINKmaple, maker of the nation’s leading maple water, is announcing three new flavors at Natural Products Expo East in Baltimore, Maryland taking place September 14-16, 2017. Offering twists on the brand’s classic maple and watermelon waters, the new flavors seamlessly enhance DRINKmaple’s current lineup of healthful hydration.
The new flavors include Grapefruit Maple Water and Raspberry Lemon Maple Water, flavored versions of DRINKmaple Organic Maple Water (launched May 2014), and Tart Cherry Watermelon Water, a flavored version of DRINKmelon Organic Watermelon Water (launched August 2016). All five SKUs will be showcased and sampled at booth #8129.

We have seen that people are drawn to the new products’ refreshing flavor combinations as well as their superior nutritional profiles.”
Grapefruit Maple Water and Raspberry Lemon Maple Water are refreshing takes on DRINKmaple. Similar to the original, both new flavors are low-calorie and are loaded with 46 naturally occurring nutritional compounds including electrolytes, antioxidants, polyphenols and prebiotics. The hydrating beverage has more manganese than a cup of kale and half the sugar of coconut water.
DRINKmelon spinoff Tart Cherry Watermelon Water packs a flavorful punch. The drink combines organic watermelons with organic tart cherry juice, which has been known for its anti-inflammatory properties, while maintaining the naturally nutritious properties of watermelon, including potassium, citrulline and vitamin C.
Each new flavor contains organic fruit juice as well as natural flavors. The natural flavors are derived from the essence from real fruit and are all-natural, vegan, non-GMO and dairy-free. No sugars or artificial ingredients have been added to the new SKUs. MSRP is $2.99 and the product is shelf-stable for 24 months.
Distribution Updates
In addition to innovation, DRINKmaple has seen many gains on the distribution front. Since its recent announcement going national with CVS Pharmacy, the brand will be rolling out nationally with Whole Foods Market this October. Other new retailers include Shaw’s/Star Market, New Seasons, Earthfare, Sprouts, Market Basket, Safeway, Fairway Market, Hyvee, Fresh Thyme and Heinen’s.
