@@img1NEW YORK, NY April 2007 – Fizzy Lizzy has introduced new packaging and added two new flavors to its line of sparkling juices: Red Hill Pomegranate and Gulf Coast Tangerine. The new packaging manages to be “hip, fun, elegant and sassy all at once” according to founder and CEO Liz Morrill. “We always felt that we had the best tasting and highest quality sparkling juice on the market, but were aware that our packaging didn’t communicate that effectively” Morrill concedes. “Now we think our packaging is as good as what’s inside.”
Fizzy Lizzy is an all-natural line of beverages consisting of fruit juice and sparkling water with no added sugar or corn syrup. Founded in 2000, Fizzy Lizzy has had a passionate niche following and was just named a “finalist” in the 2007 NASFT Product Awards Competition in the “Outstanding Cold Beverage” and “Outstanding Product Line” categories.
Like the company’s other six flavors, Red Hill Pomegranate and Gulf Coast Tangerine feature more of the “named” or “characterizing” juice than competing brands, resulting in flavor profiles that are more fruity and less sweet. With an average of 65% juice per bottle, Fizzy Lizzy’s entire product line contains fewer calories and grams of sugar per ounce than other sparkling juices. The brand’s other flavors include Mount Fuji Apple, Lone Star Grapefruit, Yakima Valley Grape, Pacific Raspberry Lemon, Costa Rican Pineapple and Northern Lights Cranberry. Fizzy Lizzy is available in select supermarket chains and gourmet food stores across the country. For more information, please call 800-203-9336 and/or visit www.fizzylizzy.com.
