Taste Radio: Perfect Partnership, Or Peculiar Pairing?

Review: Revive Probiotic Soda

When it was acquired by Peet’s Coffee in 2018, Revive was focused on making refrigerated kombucha in glass bottles. But after releasing a shelf-stable line in 12 oz cans in 2019, the brand has discontinued kombucha altogether. Under its new brand identity of Revive Drinks, the company is looking to reintroduce itself with its debut product: sparkling probiotic sodas, available in Cherry Cola and Root Beer flavors.

Frescos Naturales is a new line of sparkling aguas frescas that are made with real ingredients. The product line presently features six flavors, including Rosa de Jamaica, Tamarindo, Piña (pineapple), Maracuya (passion fruit), Guayaba (guava) and Mango.

Distribution: Rise Oat Milks Up to 4K+ Doors; Bloody Gerry Grows in SoCal

Rise Brewing Co. continues to build an audience outside of cold brew coffee fans, as the New York-based brand announced new natural channel distribution for its organic oat milks this week. The brand’s Original and Vanilla oat milks are set to enter all Fred Meyer locations later this month, while Original and Chocolate are going into all Harris Teeter Stores. All three have also landed placement at 41 Fresh Market stores, or all locations with aseptic milk sets.
