Nielsen: Non-Alc Beverage Sales “Healthy” Over Christmas Despite Volume Declines

Non-alcoholic beverage sales “remained healthy” while volume sales worsened during the two-week period ending December 30, 2023, according to the latest analysis of NielsenIQ data by Goldman Sachs Equity Research. Dollar sales in the two-week period rose 3.4%, compared to +3.5% in the four-weeks and +8.2% in the 52-week period.

Rainforest Distribution Acquires New England Distributor Associated Buyers

Rainforest Distribution Corp. has acquired New England natural and specialty foods distributor Associated Buyers, the companies announced this week. According to a press release, the companies will take roughly two months to transition the Associated Buyers’ network into the Rainforest system.
