Backed by world champion boxer Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez and named for a popular exclamation at cantinas (we’ll let you google translate “Viva Mexico Cabrones”), Mexico’s most innovative spirit company entered the RTD ring targeting an obvious and yet underserved audience in the world of tequila sodas: Mexicans and Mexican-Americans. With three flavors— Jamaica Hibiscus, Paloma, and Margarita— and gold-accented cans emblazoned with Mexican iconography, we are excited to see if the brand’s partner, Spirit of Gallo, can take this thoughtful debut to similar heights as its other tequila sodas.
