Review: Enrich (2010)

Made with 30 percent juice, including aloe vera (25 percent of the juice content), pomegranate, and cranberry, ALO Enrich has a pleasant and mildly sweet flavor (thanks to the use of sugar). There’s a little bit of aloe vera pulp in the product, but not as much as some of the other flavors of ALO, making it something that might be a good choice for the uninitiated. All in all, it’s a pretty enjoyable product. On the outside, they’re using the squarish hot fill bottle that’s used for the entire ALO line. It’s busy, but has the vibe of something that’s good for you, with images of aloe, pomegranates, and cranberries on the front panel. The only thing that we don’t get about this product is the use of a conceptual name (“Enrich”) as opposed to just using the fruit flavors for its namesake. Our bet is that’s what consumers will do anyway – and making the fruit flavors more prominent would certainly make it more marketable. Overall, a good addition to the lineup.
