BevNET Review
Originally only available in a 12 oz. glass bottle, Bruce Cost Ginger Ale has added a can package to its line-up. As for what’s inside the product, the ginger ale tastes exactly the same, although, admittedly, there’s something psychologically different about not being able to actually see the cloudy liquid as you can in a glass bottle. Still, we quickly got over the non-transparent package, with the product ultimately being just as enjoyable as the original. It’s sweet, but crisp, with just the right amount of ginger so that it’s spicy, but not “hot.” On the outside, this product’s design actually feels more polished and professional than the brand's flagship product. While that might sound contradictory to our comment about glass, we really do think that this is one of the better looking 12 oz. slim cans that we’ve seen in the CSD category. It’s both visually appealing and intuitive, with a brand that definitely feels like it's all about being the best ginger ale out there. And fortunately, what’s inside the can certainly backs this up; this is one of the best tasting sodas that we’ve had in a long time. Overall, a very solid addition to the Bruce Cost lineup.
