Review: Creamy Cashewmilk, Chocolate

While the liquid of this product is rather dark and the name says “Creamy,” this HPP nut milk product is actually a pretty light-bodied product. It’s a product that is, as evidenced by the “Pour it on” badge on the front of the label, designed to be a true dairy replacement rather than a smoothie or meal replacement. That being said, the cashew milk flavor is rather subdued, as is the level of sweetness in the product (which comes exclusively from the dates -- there’s no added sugar). The cocoa is a flavor that’s more of a tease at the finish, which works pretty well in that you’ll likely want to continue to drink this product to get more of the chocolate flavor. The appearance of the product is quite good, starting with it’s large 28 oz. bottle. The label, which features large images of cashews, is intuitive and appealing to the senses. All of the important items are on the front label, including the organic certification, the ingredients, and flavor name. However, we do wonder if the use of “creamy” will be confusing once the consumer tries the product. Otherwise, there’s really nothing that we’d consider changing about this product.
