H2Om Joins Film Festival to ‘Elevate’ Consciousness in Hollywood

Since it’s launch in February of this year H2Om ~ water with intention, pioneers in creating the world’s first energy enhanced interactive bottled spring water, has been making waves in Hollywood and around the world. As seen in the Wall Street Journal and articles and magazines across the globe, their mission is to raise consciousness and spread the vibrations of positive energy. A portion of their proceeds benefit social and nvironmental causes. They have participated as sponsors in philanthropic events such as Sting’s Rainforest Foundation Carnegie Hall Concert, Comedy for a Cure, Pamper Me Pink and now, in alignment with their commitment to inspire awareness, H2Om is proud to join this year’s ELEVATE FILM FESTIVAL as a sponsor.

On the evening of Sunday July 23rd 2006 THE ELEVATE FILM FESTIVAL 2 (EFF2) will be making its Hollywood debut at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre. Fifteen filmmakers & their teams from all over the world will showcase their film that they created in 48 hours, while the audience along with our celebrity panel judge for the winners. EFF has chosen from hundreds of worldwide submissions from filmmakers that just in 48 hours will produce either an 11 minute documentary or narrative short or a 3 minute music video that raises consciousness, shatter stereotypes and unify humanity. “The Festival inspires artists to work in a positive direction and to focus a spotlight on individuals and those who are making a difference in our world,” says Mikki Willis, festival creator and president of Elevate Films.

As part of the evenings’ presentation we are honoring Daryl Hannah, John Quigley, and The South Central Farmers for their humanitarian and greening efforts, in attempts to save the community farm that was featured in Elevate Film Festival 1. Musicians Colin Hay, (former lead singer of Men At Work), Esthero (Wikked Lil’ Grrrls), Cree Summer, Chris Pierce (on award wining “Crash” Soundtrack), Amae, and Larisa Stow are confirmed to participate in the music video category. Also actress and director Lilakoi Moon (Aka Lisa Bonet) and Michael Goorjian director of Kirk Douglas’ latest film “Illusion” are slated to direct in the documentary and narrative film categories in the 48 hour competition. “This is more than jut a film festival, this is a movement and I am honored to be apart of it”, states Lilakoi Moon. The celebrity panel of judges include: Derek Luke (“Antwone Fisher”, “Friday Night Lights”, Glory Road”) Linda Perry (Former lead singer, songwriter of 4 Non Blondes and Music Producer), Ross Grayson Bell (Producer of “Fight Club”), Drew Heriot (Director of “The Secret”), Viki King (“How to Write a Movie in 21 Days” currently the creative consultant on “Conversations with God”) Katie Romero (Guardian Angel Mgmt.), Lisa Garr (Host, “The Aware Show” and Matt Malley (Former bassist of the Counting Crows).

The second annual EFF has tripled in size and moved to the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood. EFF1 launched in December 2005, by founder Mikki Willis and his producing partners Nadia Salamanca & Darya Danesh. It all started with 8 films and 8 directors, supported by an audience of 400 people. Several films produced for EFF1 are still touring on the festival circuit. TRUTH, a documentary made at the first EFF, has been credited for saving the life of an ill child. Government officials are currently using South Central Farmers, another documentary, in an effort to save the largest urban community farm in the country.
