airforce Nutrisoda Launches T-shirt Design Contest for “Style Conscience” Campaign

MINNEAPOLIS, (Sept. 28, 2006) – As a result of the overwhelming response to their Style Conscience t-shirt campaign, airforce Nutrisoda has launched an interactive t-shirt design contest. This contest will serve as a national search for the design to be used in the second generation of their “Style Conscience” program. This multi-faceted promotion is designed to raise awareness as well as raise funds for Dress for Success, using edun LIVE t-shirts, which are associated with the EDUN fashion label.

Dress for Success is an international, non-profit organization that helps disadvantaged women achieve economic independence by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools.

Participants of this t-shirt design contest will have a chance to use their creative vision and artistic skills to create a unique t-shirt, choosing from six different categories. All designs must be submitted online at http://www.nutrisoda.com/tcontest.asp and will be accepted until Dec. 15, 2006. Designs will be voted by online visitors and winners of each category will be announced on Jan. 7, 2007. Winning designs from each category will receive a 12 pack of airforce Nutrisoda per month for one year. All category winners will be reviewed by a panel of judges and a grand prize winner will be chosen. The grand prize winner will win two free airline tickets and two nights stay at a Kimpton Hotel in Aspen, San Francisco or Boston. They will also have their t-shirt design produced and sold by Ardea Beverages with all profits going to Dress for Success.

The t-shirts are made from 100% African cotton and made in edun LIVE’s factory in the small, impoverished African country of Lesotho. It is intended that sales of the grand prize winning t-shirt will also help provide factory jobs at the Lesotho factory that produces edun LIVE t-shirts, and promote trade opportunities in Sub-Saharan Africa.
